I don’t write a lot about cruising, but when I do, I like to be treated like royalty. At least, that’s what I learned when my wife and I recently took a Mediterranean cruise aboard Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth and were fortunate enough to enjoy the luxury cruise line’s Princess level service, second only to the Queen accommodation, dining, and amenity package.

This was a whole new world compared to our past experience with cruise (Disney, Royal Caribbean) and it was a pleasure to recap the trip for Recommend magazine. Written for the benefit of travel agents, I think the story also has plenty of great information for anyone considering a high-end cruise experience but still questioning how much pampering is really enough (or really worth paying extra for).
